Review:
Written in memory of a dedicated bell ringer, this original composition suggests the sadness of loss, the joy of life and the affirmation of hope. A plaintive melody is first presented in a minor mode, followed by a light, waltz-like middle section. The original melody then reappears broadly in major mode, followed by a quiet, contemplative ending. Arranged in c minor and C Major, this piece is 129 measures.
