Review:
As the title implies, this original composition is a lively, light-hearted piece filled with staccato techniques throughout, such as mallets, plucking, thumb-damping, and martellato. A wide tempo range is given to accommodate the ability levels of various handbell groups. "Staccato Giocoso" is appropriate for concert or festival use, or any time a happy, light-hearted mood is desired. Written in C Major and a minor, measures total 43.
