The great missionary hymn tune MESSAGE is set here in a military style, with lots of march-like dotted rhythms. A second section is slower and "more free." Chromatic bell changes add challenge throughout the 50-measures. Southern Baptists will appreciate the dedication line: "To Annie and Lottie!"
