Written especially for the premier handbell ensemble "Ring of Fire," this arrangement is suprisingly accessible for choirs ringing mostly Level 3 repertoire. The Bb trumpet (or C instrument) carries the melody, and therefore is not optional but is integral to the work. Passages of random ringing appear throughout the 138-measure work (which is arranged in C Major) and provide thoughtful reflection.
