Review:
The traditional English carol is set here with differing accompaniment figures--chordal, treble, ostinato, and moving bass line. Other special techniques and articulations are scored in both the melody and the accompaniment. The music builds through two keys to a final "maestoso" section, which ends with a mart chord in measure 79. This piece is the latest in the Raleigh Ringers Series for advanced ensembles.
