Review:
Partially inspired by John Gillespie Magee Jr.'s famous poem, "High Flight," this creative arrangement of the spiritual features a soaring accompaniment as well as majestic harmonies reflective of the "wind-swept heights" and "sun-split clouds." Appropriate for services of remembrance, this work would also provide a time for reflection within a concert setting. There is not a separate vocal score, so the vocalist and the accompanist would need a separate full score. Arranged in D Major and F Major, the work is 107 measures.
