Pavane

Review:      Kevin McChesney's transcription of Maurice Ravel's composition "Pavane Pour Une Infante Defunte" (Dance for a Deceased Child) captures the impressionistic harmonies, flowing musical fabric, and rubato rhythms of the original work. Bell changes and tempo fluctuations add challenge to the 72 measures. It is a good work out on musicality!
