Review:
"Climbing Jacob's Ladder," the African-American spiritual, is done "New Orleans" style in this blues-feel arrangement for advanced ringers. Lots of accidentals provide challenge to the ringers and interest to the harmonies. The tune is set in 6/8 meter instead of the usual 4/4 adding further "swing" to the rhythms. Plug this into any happy moment of worship or please the crowd by playing this selection as a concert encore.
