Review:
Commissioned to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of a sanctuary, this festive and joyful setting of AZMON and DUKE STREET is scored for a versatile ensemble - two choirs of bells, organ, and brass (scores must be ordered separately). After a fanfare-style first section, the meter shifts gears to 7/8 and marches along with mallets on tabled bells. 3-5 octaves of chimes are paired with bells in a later section. The piece is set in F Major and C Major and concludes with an exciting ending in measure 96.
