Review:
Jean-Joseph Mouret's evergreen opening movement from the "Suite De Symphonies No. 1" is an elegant expression of joy. The easy rhythms and sectional repetitions make the work readily accessible. The fanfare-like sounds that permeate the piece make it an ideal prelude to a worship service or an excellent opening selection for a concert. Measures total 68.
