The eight titles contained in this well-scored collection present an eclectic sampling of the glorious music of the season magnificently set for handbells. Carols familiar to all celebrate every aspect of the Christmas story in single offerings as well as medleys. Three of the selections include optional handchimes, and all of the arrangements may be played entirely with handchimes alone by omitting shakes and stopped techniques.
