Review:
Suitable for choirs of all ages, this unique Palm Sunday anthem captures the euphoric mood of that first Palm Sunday. Anticipation builds as a soloist introduces a recurring melodic theme that is echoed by a small ensemble and finally by the entire choir singing in three-part round. The accented, steady beat of the accompaniment brings a fitting theatrical quality to the piece while also making it a terrific processional anthem. Be sure and listen for the donkey bray in the accompaniment! Measures total 78.
