Review:
This arrangement invokes the style of American Mountain and Bluegrass music. The opening malleted bass line mimics the plucked strings of the acoustic bass; the treble thumb-damped chords resemble the "chop" of the mandolin; and the melody sings forth as a violin in a mournful low register. Measures total 91.
NEW for 2023: an arrangement for a 13-bell ensemble, or bell tree solo, with piano and opt string bass ( item # HP3034).
