Originally written for piano, Joel Raney's setting of the popular Issac Watts and Lowell Mason hymn has been arranged for three to five octave handbells by Arnold Sherman. Joel's gentle and reflective treatment serves the tune and text well and is equally at home on both bells and keyboard. Adding to the arrangement's versatility is the optional vocal line that may be performed by a vocal soloist or ensemble, or could be played on a C-instrument. Measures total 81.
