Review:
"Hydom, Hydom (Shepherds Watch Their Flocks by Night)", an exciting arrangement of the traditional Czech carol, employs numerous handbell techniques: martellato, pluck/mallet, mart lifts, ring, LV, and mallets on suspended bells. A lyrical middle section provides contrast to the vigorous opening and closing sections. With the percusstion instruments added in, this piece will be a great addition to multicultural programs and worship services. Measures total 67.
