Review:
Based on a Swiss hymn tune known as "My Faith, It Is An Oaken Staff", this transcription will allow ringers to concentrate on a lovely, resonant sound. The melody, if played by the optional handchimes, will add a beautiful color contrast. However handbells will work just as well. LV takes a major role, and dynamic markings never rise above mf. "Alpine Echoes", a 40-measure piece, is arranged in Eb Major.
