This well-constructed musical prayer for peace incorporates the majestic English tune JERUSALEM for a very moving and effective musical result. It is suitable for church, concert, or massed ringing. This piece was arranged for the victims of September 11, 2001, and is a peace prayer for the whole world. It is marked adagio, uses mostly LV, and incorporates a mix of flowing eighth-note passages and chords. A chime section adds contrast. Measures total 140.
