Review:
Based on Psalm 8, this original work for bells and flute is impressionist in style. Subtitled
"A Morning Meditation", the music is a peaceful illustration of the beauty and marvel of creation. Care must be taken to express the musical aspects of this composition. The flute part is included in the back part of the score and requires an experienced flautist. This piece was commissioned to honor a former dirctor, and a description for the basis for the piece is provided in the score.
