Review:
Three lovely cradle carols set the scene for a quiet, peaceful Christmas. The carols are based on "Infant Holy", "Joseph Dearest, Joseph Mine", and "The Friendly Beasts". Eighth-note passages flow throughout the whole piece of music, most of it in the treble and some triplet figures add a twist for the opening and closing theme. Chimes add a different yet soft and lovely timbre, and keys change with the carol changes. This 103-measure piece would be an excellent choice for the Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service. It is set in the keys of F Major and Db Major.
