Review:
"Les Cloches", by Nicholas Antoine Le Begue, is translated "The Bells" and arranged by Albert Zabel. Throughout the music are typical bell effects: tower bell peals, bass bells sounding as tower chimes, bells striking the hour, antiphonal dynamic effects suggesting a group of bell towers in the foreground and in the distance. This charming work is 77 measures of light music feel.
