Review:
Kiyo Watanabe has masterfully arranged this traditional Japanese melody for 3 octaves of handbells. The plaintive melody is supported by both chordal and undulating eighth accompaniment. This piece is a good challenge to work on sensitivity in dynamics and evoking a mental picture of lovely cherry blossoms. 44 measures.
