Review:
This David Angerman transcription, based on Joseph Martin's arrangement of "Away in a Manger" (tune: MUELLER), can be learned in one rehearsal; yet in performance it presents with warmth and charming elegance. The texture is thin, but the use of Major 7th chords makes it sound fuller. The last few measures incorporate an easily recognized four-note motif from "Silent Night". A total of 67 measures with short repeat, it is arranged in Eb Major.
