Alleluia Song of Gladness
Two octaves of bells (plus the A6) combine with tambourine, drum and finger cymbals to accompany this 12th century plainsong taken from a Moissac manuscript. Liturgically, this hymn appeared in the Office at the conclusion of the Epiphany Season as a 'farewell' to the Alleluia, which would return to the liturgy at the Great Vigil of Easter.
