Three Christmas Trios
Linda has shared her amazing gift for arranging by interweaving seven familiar Christmas tunes into three engaging stand-alone titles for handbell trio.
Three Traditional Carols combines "Sing We Now of Christmas"; "Fum, Fum, Fum"; and "Masters In This Hall" into a delightful setting which includes melody shared throughout treble and bass, a bit of bass malleting, and excellent segues to key and meter changes.
Angel Carols include "Angels From the Realms of Glory"; "Angels We Have Heard On High"; and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing". Key and meter changes, addition of a few well-places Shakes, and sharing the melody throughout the parts will keep listeners engaged.
Joy To the World features the melody Rung with malleted accompaniment, Shakes, and luscious LV passages in the style of peals, as well as off-set rhythms and exciting dynamic changes.
These wonderful trio arrangements could easily be adapted to include more than three ringers. Each of these three titles is included in one set – which is reproducible.
