Songs of the Manger
A medley of "Away in a Manger" (CRADLE SONG), "There's a Song in the Air" (CHRSTMAS SONG) and "The Holly and the Ivy," this setting calls for two bell trees, optional handchimes and percussion (finger cymbals, tambourine, hand drum). Mallets on suspended bells in the upper accompaniment with chimes on the melody provides a shimmery look at the manger scene. This piece is 132 measures and is scored in F Major, G Major, and E Major.
