Go Up to the Altar of God
A bold brass fanfare begins this piece for voices, organ, handbells and brass. The bells ring only occasionally and only 5 bells (C5, F5, G5, C6, F6) are used. The text begins, "Go up to the altar of God, the God of our gladness and joy. Raise up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord." The brass parts are not optional.
