Green Grow'th the Holly
The text begins: "Green grow'th the holly. So doth the ivy; Though winter blasts blow never so high, Green grow'th the holly."
This original, commissioned SATB anthem is accompanied by a chamber ensemble or optional piano reduction. The chamber ensemble consists of 2 flutes, harp, percussion (triangle, susp. cymbal, bell tree, tubular bells), and optional contrabass. An optional 2-3 octave handbell part, with simple, but energetic rhythms, may be added to enhance the piece; the handbell part cannot stand alone. All instrument parts except the piano reduction are included in the reproducible pack.
