Serenity
The organ part of this original work calls for Voix Celeste 8' and Flutes 8' and 16'. The handbells add their gentleness through unisons rung line and contrasting dynamics. The texture is open and light with overlapping melodic figures. Bell changes do offer challenge, but the restful tempo allows the time needed.
