Earth Awakes, The
Ten bells (A4-E6) are called for in this brief, SATB anthem to be accompanied by bells or keyboard. The tempo is slow, and rhythms are simple with chordal texture. The lyrics by Paul Baxley begin: "A song of love we raise to thee, a song of life and victory; We lift our hearts, our voices raise: You are our God, receive our praise."
