Joyful Shepherds on Christmas Night
Based on the carols: "Shepherds, Shake Off Your Drowsy Sleep!" (anon. French), "Oh, How Joyfully!" (anon. Latin), and "On Christmas Night All Christians Sing" (anon. English) and arranged for 3,4, or 5 octaves of bells with optional handchimes (2 octaves) and percussion (tambourine or triangle and hand drum or tom-tom). Special techniques are used throughout the piece.
