O Come Little Children
More and more young ringer's and youth choirs are expanding to five octaves. This arrangement of the traditional German carol would suit that group quiet well. The first verse is fully-scored in chordal texture, the next places the melody in the bass with staccato technique while the upper bells contribute a playful counter-line using marts. A flowing section ensues with the bass bells in step-wise motion and this leads to the ending section where a little bit of all the above is combined.
