Carol of the Angels
"High in the heavens the angels are winging, telling the earth that a Savior is born." So begins the text of this unison or 2-part anthem with piano accompaniment and optional handbells based on the traditional Croatian carol. The handbell part is found on the back page and consists of 8 bells - D5 through E6. The tempo is bright and the meter is 3/4. The bells contribute mostly in a single line, but thicken out to chords on the final two measures.
