Joyously Ringing
A church in Missouri commissioned this work in honor of their two organists dedicated service. The time is 6/8 and the mood is a happy lilt. Optional choirchimes (2 to 3-octaves) are assigned the melody in the middle section accompanied by light texture with LV. After a key change an entire section is devoted to staccato technique which may be plucked or malleted. The last section employs the melody in the upper bells in octaves and the lower bells on chords that are sometimes marted. A full ending follows marked ff.
