Fun With Chopsticks
"Chopsticks" was written for piano in 1877. The title came from a performance suggestion made by the composer: ‘Play both hands turned sideways, so that the movement of the hands imitates the chopping from which this waltz gets its name’. "Fun With Chopsticks", arranged for handbell quartet by John Behnke, takes you on a fun musical journey where the melody is played in both high and low bells, in a minor key, with mallets, and with a fun, surprise ending. It’s sure to delight the listeners and the ringers alike.
