Recueillir (Meditation)
Recueillir (loosely pronounced “reh-qwi-yur”) offers a touch of nostalgia: gentle, wistful, hopeful. Recueillir is French for “Meditation” - you may want to use this subtitle for sacred settings. Three or four ringers cover the main score, integrally sharing the accompaniment and the melody with triplets. To that end, the folio includes an individual score for each part – plus a “director’s full score” with one-part-per-staff that allows all ringers to see how their complex parts fit together. An optional chime solo can be layered on top of the main score, adding richness to the melody.
