Ring With 7 Classics
Are twelve hands enough? Sometimes an extra ringer or director-turned-ringer is necessary. Such is the case with these two extended arrangements. "Holy, Holy, Holy" from Schubert's Deutsche Messe uses A4 to C7 and "Hallelujah" from Handel's Messiah uses C5 to D7 (opt).
"Holy, Holy, Holy" requires that the melody be sung, played on a C instrument, or rung solo-ringing style on handchimes while the handbells provide the accompaniment. "Hallelujah" is challenging, but great fun to ring and to hear. Both pieces are suitable for concerts and worship.
