Christmas Fantasy
"Christmas Fantasy" is so titled to reflect the "fantasia" musical form described as "Music with an improvisatory feel" or "a piece in free form." In the course of this selection's 104 measures, any where from snippets of tunes to full carol melodies are heard in varying dynamics, keys, meters, and articulations. Handbells are heard in numerous venues during the Christmas season, and this selection would be at home in any one or all of them.
