De Aqui Y De Alla
This recording contains original compositions for handbells and arrangements of music from Puerto Rico, Latin America, and Europe. The repertoire includes folkloric expressions, religious music, one Christmas theme and melodies from the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Nineteenth Century and Contemporary periods. They have been interlocked to show the variety of rhythms, instrumentation and musical genres. University bells (CU) founded in 1997, is the choir of bells of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. They have performed in Europe and North America.
