Be Thou My Vision
The beautiful Irish hymn tune SLANE is the basis for this handbell solo with piano or harp accompaniment. The piece begins with four measures of rolled chords before the handbell solo enters on the melody. Later, arppegiated accompaniment takes over, adding harmonic interest. The rhythmic movement picks up and ends with several sparkling measures. Only one copy is needed. A total of 78 measures, this solo is scored in C Major.
