It only takes a handful of ringers to perform the optional accompaniment to Hal Hopson's service of carols. Special effects such as mallets on suspended bells, random ringing, bell peals, and joyous shakes color the overall musical fabric with ethereal joy. Bells used range from F4 to B7.
