Performer: Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers
Review: Published in England this instructional book with accompanying ringer's book is about tune ringing on handbells. It has been written primarily for beginners and for those who may find it is useful to follow the structured course for learning to play more competently from standard musical notation. This ten-session course leads to an informal concert in the last session, to which friends can be invited. A small set of twelve bells (C5 to G6 diatonic) is used throughout the book. Written by a retired music educator in England. The book uses terms spoken in England rather than the USA.
