Review:
This beautiful and ethereal selection is based on a Japanese folk song with the text, "In the pale moonlight 'snowflakes' are dancing, faintly hued, and not cold, blown in the wind, one after one, one after another". The music evokes this mood through various textures including a random ring meant to portray floating petals. Performance notes are included. Seventy-four measures in length.
