Review:
This feisty hymn setting for bells and eight handchimes (from Bb5 to C7) was commissioned by the Texas Conference Choir Clinic for Music and the Worship Arts of the United Methodist Church in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Syncopated rhythms with staccato technique characterize the first and final sections of the work, while a slower tempo, LV technique, and melody on chimes are featured in the middle section. All ringers keep involved throughout the one hundred and three measures.
