Review:
2 to 4 octaves of optional handchimes may be added to this setting of "Royal Oak", the 17th century English tune. The chimes take the melody in the inner voices after a smooth introduction. The tempo then quickens as it leads into a section that calls for malleted accompaniment. The opening material ends the work on a soft and reflective note. A total of 77 measures, this piece is set in the keys of G Major and C Major.
