After a fanfare, featuring a lowered 7th chord, the hymn tune "Diademata" is presented in a straight-forward manner. A following section is marked "Brightly" and makes use of a martellatoed accompaniment figure. A broad section finishes out the work, which ends with a shake, a ring, and a ring touch.
