Review:
Thomas Tallis' "Canon" is taken through various textual 'treatments' in this 56 measure setting by arranger Margaret Tucker. First accompanied by half-note chords, then slowed down and suported by broken chords, the melody is further enhanced by mallets on suspended bells, which add an ethereal flavor. A final, broad section ends the work.
