Review:
"Hail thee, festival day! The day that is hallowed forever; day when the Lord arose, breaking the bonds of death." So begins the text of this anthem, which includes a score for seven optional handbells in the 3 to 5-octave range. The bells ring in unison, ostinato patterns and could easily be distributed to members of the singing choir. Brass ensemble consists of two trumpets, two trombones, Horn and Timpani.
