Review:
A simple, unison line to introduce, conclude, and bridge sections is written for 8 handbells in the three octave range and/or flute. The bells and flute read off the choral score. The text begins: My soul gives glory to the Lord, in God my Savior I rejoice. My lowliness He did regard, exalting me by His own choice. SATB and children's choir and organ are also scored for this traditional Scottish melody based on CANDLER.
