Review:
"Sweet Christmas" is the sub-title of this piece which combines "Dona Nobis Pacem" with "Cradle Song (Away in the Manger)". To create a tender atmosphere, a random ring with mallets on suspended bells opens and closes the selection. Sixteenth-note rhythms accompany "Cradle Song" in a slow tempo making them an ideal rhythm study. Use any time during the Christmas season, (but, perhaps, it is perfect for Christmas Eve services.)
