Review:      Bells in the upper two octave range combine with SSA chorus, oboe, and marimba in presenting this original work on a poem by Denis Levertov. The bells ring periodically throughout the work with a few challenging tuplets. This is a serious art work by a highly accomplished composer, who has served on the National Endowment for the Arts Music Panel and the ASCAP Board of Review among other achievements.
